The China International Glass Industrial Technical Exhibition has been approved by the Chinese Government and held every year alternately at Shanghai (in odd years) and Beijing (in even years), and has enjoyed a great reputation both in China and abroad. Events of this exhibition are supported by Chinese glass-related government departments and nationwide associations. China Glass is now one of the leading glass exhibitions in Asia and one of the three largest international glass exhibitions in the world.

Chinese exhibitors display their new equipment and products. China Glass has already become a brilliant stage for showcasing new technology, new equipment and new products reflecting the highest development level of the international glass industry. Simultaneously with the exhibition, there are a number of technical workshops and technical seminars, in addition to three international conferences: 1.GPD China 2008 organized by the Glaston Group, China Building Material Academy and China Building Material Test & Certification Centre; 2.
